Ballots go in the mail this week. Four candidates applied to run for the Board. Below, you can click to see their original applications.
All ballots that are received by close of business on November 21st will be counted. Ballots go to a PO Box which will not be opened until the last day of voting. An Election Committee consisting of a Board member and three GLC staff members will open the PO Box and count the ballots. Results will be posted December 1st, 2008 and ratified by the Board at their next meeting.

If you are a parent of a GLC student or a community member interested in serving on the Board, now’s your chance!
Gorman Learning Center currently has a vacant position on the GLC Board. The position is for a three year term. The term will commence immediately upon election and shall expire on June 30, 2011.

Applications will be accepted until October 22, 2008 at 5:00 PM. The balloting process to vote will begin November 10, 2008 and close on November 21, 2008 at 5:00 PM. The election results will be posted December 1, 2008.
The qualifications for Directors are “the ability to attend Board meetings, a willingness to actively support and promote the operations of the corporation and dedication to the endeavors, mission and vision of the corporation.”
Generally, the meetings are held at the Redlands Business Office, once a month in the morning and usually last 2-3 hours.
